I didn't add Romeo and Juiet because the second lion king is supposed to be based off it.

She should be a princess.

Cleopatra could be a really interesting Disney Princess. She'll fall into the category of princesses like Pocahontas, Mulan and Tiana. :)

Adam and Eve would be wayyyy too controversial. Religious people (not all) would absolutely hate it. I don't really know Odysseus and Penelope, but it sounds like it'd be too similar to Hercules, maybe?

Possibly Cleopatra. But this one seems the most 'disneyish' I think.

I don't know which ones, to be honest. Most of these stories, I don't know. I just know Adam and Eve. And Romeo and Juliet. And I know I read about Samson and Delilah a couple times. But Samson has a story about his hair being cut and losing his power. Too similar to this one fairytale.

I would hate Disney if they made a biblical story, like Adam and Eve and Samson and Delilah. And their stories are not that love stories, by the way.
And I don't care about others you mentioned honestly.

Well, you could argue that The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Pocahontas are "like" Romeo & Juliet; all involve forbidden love. I agree with disney_prince and firegirl1515 about Cleopatra. I just bought the new issue of cosmopolitan and there's actually an article in there about her and what a powerful woman she was.

Oh gee sorry I forgot about the freakin Lion King sequel. I no its BASED off of it but how come Disney cant make one of the actual story?

Because Disney doesn't want to make a tragic movie about the main characters dying. *shrugs* I think The Lion King 2 did well with Kiara running away to be with Kovu and, instead of pretending to kill herself and then actually dying, she comes back and negotiates with her father and it all works out.

Another story from the One thousand and one nights will be nice I think...
