Well, anyway. I like Mulan, but I tend to like the bubblier, more positive princesses.

The Movie Is Great, The Character Not So Much!

Cinderella was never my favorite she kinda irritated me with the whole damsel in distress stereotype.

i have literally voted for cinderella every single round. she just doesn't appeal to me

I easily prefer Cinderella out of these two, I'm thrilled that she got this far!!! The concept of a kick-butt heroine doesn't appeal to me in itself, (I tend to like kick butt heroines most that have bad pasts, not being treated very well, or bubbly personalities for some reason), but I love Mulan though, still, Cinderella just is more princessy... I really tend to like the old-style heroines a bit better... I pretty much adore every single heroine that Walt Disney himself was involved with to pieces. I adore most (not all) of the more modern heroines too, but not as uniformally, and generally (with the exception of a few) not as much.

I think they both really deserve it but c'mon ... Mulan saved her whole country! Although Cinderella had to put up with her stepfamily, she didn't face malicious huns, go through boot camp, and prove girls can kick ass!

I love you to death Cinderella, I really do. ...But Mulan wins for me. Throughout the movie, Mulan had to go through so much struggles pretending to be a male in the army and to fight for her own country. She grows and develops as a character from a clumsy, awkward girl into a strong confident heroine. Cinderella, however, stayed the same throughout the whole movie.

Sorry Cindy, but Mulan's character is just too likable.

Glad to see them both at the top, but like ppgbelle4 said, Mulan is a much more dynamic character, and I can relate to her a bit more than I can to Cinderella.

As much as I like Cinders, Mulan is the one for me. Cue my "I love Mulan" speech.
Mulan always has been and always will be my favourite. Well, unless they make Meg and Esmeralda Disney Princesses any time soon. I can really relate to her and she always makes me feel better when I'm down. Her voice is just beautiful and I could listen to Reflection all day. As if that isn't enough, I find her absolutely stunning and I love the subtleness and unphysical tendencies of her relationship with Shang. But most of all, for me, Mulan is the girl that every female on the planet should look up to. She's not only brave and smart, but she gets over her mistakes and flaws to climb to the top (both literally and figuratively) and show that women can be anything they want to be - and they can do it better than a man any day.

Cinderella is sweet, kind and pretty but she's so passive. I'd prefer it if she had some of that oomph to her that we saw in Cinderella 3.
