When they are really young, at the age of two and three I would play to them movies like Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi, Lady and the tramp, because I want them to be real ladies one day and their childhood has big influence on their life. I want to learn to be polite, kind and patient, also hard-working- it's necessary here

I would let her watch them all. But probably keep Beauty and the Beast and Princess and the Frog for later cause they have some scary parts. Along with some others. But she will see all of them. ( If I actually have a daughter she might be named Ariel)

I wouldn't let them watch Little Mermaid while they don't grow up little, I don't like her behavior very much

I don't want kids at all, but I'd let them watch whatever they wanted. There's no point in softening your kids to the real world. They're going to find out in the end so you may as well tell them when they're too young to care so it's not devestatingly awkward when they're older.

My parents went for that approach. I saw The Evil Dead when I was 3 and I absolutely loved it. I still love it, even now. When I was 6, it took me 3 weeks to find anyone to discuss Hellraiser with. I had to ask this guy who used to live next door to my Grandma who is now a druggy and fucked off somewhere who's like 5 years older than me. I think I was the only 6 year old in the world that used to ask my mattress if there was a person in it. :L

I would think those like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White...movies like Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, etc. are less childish and more mature.

Cinderella is a very good role model and the villains of the movie aren't too scary.

It was my first so I would want it to be her first.

Either Sleeping Beauty or Beauty and the Beast. For the most part, I'll probably let her pick whatever she wants to watch though.
