I don't really understand this countdown. What constitutes a magical moment?

Magical...like a kiss waking you up...a dress appearing out of thin air...it's not that difficult.

Compared to the others this moment was lacking, I don't know, charisma, intensity, passion...it was just lacking. Though I do love that when Snow White wakes up she doesn't just gracefully breeze up, she stretches first, I thought that was some cute realism. It's not a bad moment, but I don't find it that special when compared to the others :)

Colors of the Wind is one of my favourite Princess songs but I wouldn't say its "Magical"

^ Well, I couldn't think of any magical moments for that movie except for that part...

I just don't find it very magical... okay I KNOW this was the kiss that totally WOKE HER FROM THE DEATH and all that, but Snow White's just never meant very much to me... :D

I still find it kind of creepy lol

Okay, for Pocahontas, how about when the leaves swirl around Pocahontas and she magically learns english?


And yes, it was confusing. Magical can be interpreted in many ways.
For example, how is Mulan being proclaimed a hero magical? I just think it's very vague.

Also, the part where ariel flips out of the water after transformating the first time.
I think the "Gifts of Beauty and Song" scene is magical.

oh- also the part where Ariel gets her voice back.

Yeah what the hell? Mulan earned her hero status with pure determination and bravery. No bibbidi bobbidi boo required.

I wouldn't consider this really the magical moment so much as Pocahontas suddenly understanding English. I would describe this as more "surreal".


I think my favorite magic moment would have to be when Phillip is escaping and the fairies turn the rocks into bubbles, arrows into flowers, hot oil into a rainbow. Then also when Maleficent does her transformation and casts thorns around the castile. That whole sequence is by far my favorite magic...ness.

I like this list. I only could think of transformations of castles or cities, like in Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty. And when fairies are preparing their presents for Aurora...:)
