Maurice is too dependent on Belle. I find their relationship borderline obsessive.

Personally, I feel that Mulan & Jasmine have the best relationship with their parents.

It would be Mulan for me too, except for the whole "honor" thing.

Eudora just wanted Tiana to be happy (so she wanted her to settle down-that's not as horrible as what some other Disney parents have done) Although he was absent for the duration of the film, the inspiration Tiana drew from her father means that all they could've ever had was the positive relationship from the first scene.

I agree with princesslullaby on Belle and Maurice.

Belle's like obsessed with her dad,
Mulan doesn't really have too much bondange with her mom and her dad has the whole "honor" thing going on.
Aurora met her parents like once.
Ariel and Triton has that whole trust issues thing.
Poca's dad almost killed John and didn't even try to listen to what she was saying.
Jasmine and her dad had a decent relationship, but he was kinda forcing the whole marriage thing on her.
Tiana and her mom and dad overall had a good relationship. Both of her parents encouraged her to follow her dreams yet still keep in mind what's important in life.

I seriously don't get what is so obsessive about their relationship. :S

Tiana would be my second choice though :D
