Gluttony (Latin, gula) is the overindulgence and overconsumption of anything to the point of waste. The word derives from the Latin gluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow.

While you may put Ariel down for envy, because she longs to be human, she's not really jealous, per se. And she doesn't long for material possessions, like greed. Ariel literally sings a song about wanting more and more- she can never indulge enough in her desire to be human.

Gluttony is not being able to stop once one is has satisfied a need. It is over consumption of something one needs. Lust is desire for and focus upon an object for self gratification

Greed is the desire to obtain material objects for the possession of the object, the power the object provides one, the status it gives one or the the admiration others will have for you.


Snow white is gluttonous for eating an apple, for the sake of making a wish, and in doing so explicitly ignoring the warnings of doc, thus referencing both the gluttony of food and desire of her mystery man

I think so, she always goes a bit far in cooking, cleaning, and such. It's more of a vibe than anything though, I don't have any real examples of Snow White being overindulgent.
