Meh, it's a popularity contest. Outside of fanpop i do think there's an imbalance, but in here everybody seems to get a fair amount of love.

It doesn't bother me much though.

It's a good conversation starter, and debates like these are always fun as long as everyone remains cool headed and limits the personal attacks. You can only gush about how much you love something for so long, and these are hot debate topics.

I do find it annoying-especially as someone who isn't very fond of Ariel and is only just starting to like Elsa-that when I go in Hot Topic everything is Frozen or TLM. I find it annoying that those two are EVERYONE'S favorite, and that the merits of the others are often ignored. But as far as merchandise goes, Disney is a company and they are going to create merch of what sells, in this case Elsa and Ariel. And, with the whole 'favorite princess' thing, people find Elsa relatable, which I guess I understand. Ariel, on the other hand....I respect her movie as playing an important role in the Disney renaissance, but the only things she really has going for her are her looks and her voice, which are usually the reasons people like her. Striking red hair and big blue eyes? Check. Pretty voice and-I'll admit it-great songs? Check. That being said, I'm not ignoring the awesome features that these two princesses have and I totally support everyone liking what they like. Carry on with the obsession!
