I don't see Brave with a sequel working too well tbh, the story seemed pretty finale at the end. Unless the sequel takes on a different route (maybe Merida is grown up and takes on her duties as Queen?), but if the sequel is something like more people turning into bears...Haha.

Maybe they can make that big, epic fantasy adventure they promised in the ads for the first movie.

And I want to be the one to make the sequel to Brave.

No sequels please, I became allergic to them after seeing the direct to DVD ones. As for Brave, the Toy Story sequels Pixar made where great but now they are making too many sequels and I do not think Brave should be added to the list.

I've found that the Disney sequels are rarely ever as good as the original. That being said, a stand alone movie is more my cup of tea--- unless it is a book series converted into a moving picture like Tolkien's TLOTR.

I kinda would like to see Merida have to really deal with the politics of her country once she's queen, including maybe finding a prince along the way. And Brave is originally from Pixar which generally has a good track for sequels.

Fortunately now Disney doesn't made any sequels again. Too much sequels that getting flop.

I loved both movies, but I feel that if The Princess and the Frog was given a sequel, the filmmakers would butcher the characters and throw away their development. The animation would probably not be nearly as beautiful as it was in the original movie, and the leads would become over-the-top, stereotypical caricatures of themselves.

Brave, on the other hand, is a Pixar movie, and Pixar is great with sequels. I'd love to see Merida fall in love, in all honesty.
