easily the most popular and respected of the classics, but that's not saying much. most little girls adore her for her iconic dress and being the most famous fairy tale character ever with a rags-to-riches story most girls love, and a lot of older people like her, but the younger crowds dismiss her as a doormat or Mary Sue quite a bit. she has gotten more respect recently though, even from the feminist crowds.
