Personally, I don't want them to redeem Hans...

BUT Disney sort of left the door open for that. They chose to keep him alive :)

I think they can defiantly redeem Hans what I think they can do is his kingdom The Southern Islas banishes him, and something in the plot that makes the other main characters (Anna, Elsa, Kristof etc..) and along the way they bump into Hans and Kristoff threatens to beat him up if he doesn't go away something like that and then Hans says he changed blah blah and they let him tag along because Elsa said she'll keep an eye on him blah blah and something in the end happens where Hans jumps in front of an arrow that was meant for Elsa. I would say he needs to die but that's too much I would like something like Pocahontas where he goes off in a ship back to The Southern Islas.

I would like to read what you guys think can happen to him in a sequel.

It would be the best thing ever if he meets up with Elsa again. They fall in love. Elsa tries to explain Anna about the relationship. She would be like, "You gave me a second chance, why can't you give him one?"

I WOULD DIE OF HAPPINESS AND FEELS AND OMG.

Yeah!!! And it goes with the message from Fixer Upper: "people make bad choices when they're mad or scared or stressed. Throw a little love their way, and you'll bring out their best"
If they didn't redeem Hans, they would be going against the film's message!

I think they can but they probably won't want to. "BUT! OUR LPOT TWIZT!"
they could go with banishment and they come across him and go into his motives and sturff

Forgive him for trying to kill them? Sure, he nearly (purposely) dropped a chandelier on Elsa, sure he locked Anna in a room to freeze to death, sure he tried to slice Elsa with his sword, sure he's just a lying manipulative enemy to women everywhere... But that's okay! All is forgiven! Hmm, I don't know... Don't give in to him charm and looks, ladies. That's how he gets you.

I don't think Hans can become good. He is already skilled at pretending to be good. It's all an act.

The theme of frozen is that things that you regret happen, but you can't let such things control you. You have to both live with and learn from your mistakes. Hans's redemption would definitely fall into this theme while also adding forgiveness into the equation. Hans has the potential to be an amazing "exiled prince" anti-hero type of character. And since he no longer has to pretend to be an awkward youth, he also demonstrated a degree of high intellect which opens him up to be a comical realist. It would jaha be great storytelling "which is scarce now and days," to give the guy another chance.

yes they can, but they have to somehow make him king, his brothers all die would be a good way, they can easily do that with a ship-sinking accident, that way he no longer has greed for the throne, it would be something like being the king did not make him as happy as he expected that way he would regret all he did trying to earn it.
