I think there are different kinds of bravery. Snow White is brave as she knows a killer is after her, Ariel is brave for leaving her entire world behind for a new one, Rapunzel gains bravery throughout the movie, etc.
Mulan faces the worst situations.

What makes her the bravest DP to me is that she knew there were little chances of making it out alive but she still went through with it. Even when Shang told her to pack up, she persevered.

She'd been taught her entire life that as a woman she was inferior and was not worthy for being able to survive doing "men's work." Not only that, but she was facing what is still considered one of the greatest armies of all time, and if she was discovered, she would be killed for being a woman. Add to all that she did it all for her ather with no hope to get anything out of it for herself and you've got the bravest princess.

the movie is so flawed in not only historical values, but the fact that she went against her family to fulfill her selfish stupid desires, and then claims it's not their fault.

aurora, ariel, rapunzel, and snow white ;) aurora agreed to marry a stranger and do a job she didnt wanted for others, ariel put love above her fears, rapunzel faced every thing she was scared of, snow white was able to love after being hated her whole life.

that imo is alot braver then running away to war. i'm the only person who thinks so but idc, i like emotional bravery better then physical kind. i would be less afraid to fight someone than face heartbroken lonely misery.

how the heck is merida brave... she only is brave when its almost over!!!
