I think all of the princesses are brave in their own way. But IMO the bravest are Mulan, Belle, and Ariel. Mulan went to war to save her father, that should be enough of an explanation. Belle gave up her freedom and her adventure in the great wide somewhere (all of the things she’s been wanting from the start of the film) to take her father’s place in the castle. Ariel was brave enough to keep believing in her dreams even when everyone told her she couldn't do it. And even though it wasn't the smartest thing to do, she bravely went into Ursula’s lair and followed her heart.

Oh, and Rapunzel.

Like you said each of them are brave in their own ways, but Rapunzel is the bravest IMO.

I think all of them are brave in their own ways like everybody, but I think Mulan is the bravest. She had been taught her entire life that was a man's world and she would be unable to handle herself in it. She probably assumed when she left that she would be killed in battle, not to mention that if she was discovered she would be killed, so she was giving everything, including probably her life, for her father when she could get no personal gain. That's brave.

I'm tired of this question, because Mulan is just going to win every time. It's unfair, because her situation is totally different from any of the other's (although obviously they're all pretty different). We have no idea how any of them would do in Mulan's movie or how Mulan would do in Snow White's situation or Ariel's or whoever's.

I do agree with Lupin though, Merida does not get enough credit for the one ACTUALLY brave thing she does! And it was indeed a very brave thing. What other princesses admit they were *gasp* wrong after all?

however, I wish people would remember Belle is not the only one who sacrificed her own happiness for someone else. Aurora, Pocahontas, and Tiana did the exact same thing but except for maybe Poca they don't get nearly as much praise for it as Belle.
