What had been Disney's inspiration in creating メリダとおそろしの森 and its main character, Merida? Merida is such a breakthrough in the typical princess character,she is so different from what princesses are usually pictured out to be.

I dont know what inspired to make this movie, but for sure I lovve it. It was もっと見る that I expected. Merida is rebellious, but also a nice person inside. ディズニー and ピクサー・アニメーション・スタジオ did a great job

The idea was thought of によって Brenda Chapman. She got the idea of the story based on something that she and her daughter went through (and also based on their 愛 for fairy tales によって Grimm Brothers and Hans Christian Anderson). Her daughter and female friend were the inspiration for Merida. Chapman inspired クイーン Elinor.
