Church Does Gay Exorcism On Teen

Cinders Debate question: This video presents one view of such an act. What about your view? Do you think that treating homosexuality as a demon to be exorcised is an effective method of making people straight? Is this just a scare tactic, as the Young Turks suggest, literally "scaring teens straight" as opposed to actually "curing" them? Did the church have the right to do this to the boy? Other questions to consider: Did the teenager ask to be exorcised? Was his vomiting a psychological effect of the exorcism, or was it a demonic side effect? Is it possible to make a homosexual person a heterosexual person through religion, counseling, or other forms of therapy?

NessNess I agree with you, sapherequeen. This is sick. I don't mind religion, but when it starts becoming this hateful and alienating towards people that are "different," it's wayyy too much. This is totally wrong and misguided.
