Beyonce fans and sjws fans are all over this and they need to chill. Beyonce's fans usually throw tantrums if people don't worship her anyway. This isn't the first time a singer or her fans accused not getting an award or getting nominated as racism. (Remember when Nicki Minaj accused not not getting nominated for video/song of the year in 2015 when many nonwhite artists were nominated? That wasn't even a good song and the song + video encouraged the objectification women) While I don't really listen to either Adele or Beyonce, I honestly didn't find any of Beyonce's fans memorable this year (or in the 2010's really) and Adele is a much better with "Hello'' was a definitely a song everyone knew and remembered whether they liked it or not. Seriously Beyonce's fans need to get over themselves.

I haven't encountered this at all.

All coverage/comments I've seen are about Beyonce's performance or about Adele's gesture towards her.

I live under a rock that filters out current music, and even I couldn't escape "Hello". "Single Ladies" is the only Beyonce song I know of. *shrug*

Personally, I think it's stupid that they would claim that it's "racist" just because she didn't win the award. I mean she already has so many awards anyways so not winning one isn't that big of a deal. Beyonce fans are a bit...extreme really about stuff like this. The word racism shouldn't be thrown around like this for something that isn't even relying on skin color but talent. Plus, Hello IS a song that is easy to remember and more spread out.

In any case, I am happy that Adele won and not Beyonce.

Honestly these are the people who shouted things like "white people arent allowed to enjoy/make Beyoncé covers." And then they act all surprised when she doesn't get appreciation.

On top of that awards should be given based on talent not race. Like if Bieber beat Beyoncé I'd be calling bullshit. Adel is very talented though. She deserved her win. On top of that Chance the Rapper won and he's black. If it was racism then Chance wouldn't have one. Hotline Bling also won.

And tbh, while I like Beyoncé I don't think she's as great as everyone says. She just has such a crazy fan base.

Furthermore, as Egypt said, she's like sitting on awards anyhow!
