What is your opinion on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict? 

To quote the excellent Dennis Miller, "That place has been having turf wars since keops pulled permits on the pyramids!"
Why debate over it. What will be, will be..........
I know Israel is a tough country and we've not seen the end of this. But I see no harm in going over there to help them.

I see plenty of harm in going over there to help them (as far as the US supporting Israel). I believe that both Israelis and Palestinians have grievances, and both have committed heinous acts against each other, which is exactly why I think the US should take a more neutral stance than they have taken on the conflict. When Palestinian children are run over by US-made Israeli tanks, it's not helping the conflict.

I miss Yitzak Rabin. *Sigh.*

EDIT: For a different (albeit biased) look at the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, pick up a copy of "My Name is Rachel Corrie." It's fascinating, when taken with a grain of salt. It IS the singular opinion of one person who lived with Palestinians. But it's an opinion that's not often voiced in America these days.
