ジーザス and his success.

From what I can remeber from Primary School Bible Study, things weren't great in Biblical times, which, one could argue, helped religion. This thought leads me to a question:

a. If the people back then had had a wonderful, thoughful and all around brillinat king, would religion had been invented?

b. Or, if あなた believe religion is true, do あなた think that the success of a king, as I described above, would have prevented Jesus' success as a prophet?

Those are both very interesting things to think about.
From what i've heard, I would say that if everything back then had been fine and going well, there wouldn't have been much need for ジーザス または a supposed prophet.
I think that religion would have developed anyways, as there are many religions in the world, not all from troubled times like things were back then, but Christianity, if it had developed at all would probably have been quite a bit different.

To 移動する on to your 次 question, if there was a successful King, but ジーザス was still a prophet (And i'm just generalizing. I'm personally an atheist and don't believe it happened), i'm guessing that a King might have either put a stop to it, または would have possibly taken credit for being the prophet. Also, people would have likely been less inclined to listen to a prophet if everything was just wonderful.
Those are just my thoughts. What about you?

Sorry it took me a while to respond. :) Anyway, I pretty much agree. I think that, if people had been happy, they wouldn't have needed to believe in a higher power. Thanks for the response!
