I think L's was truly the saddest like ever, especially after seeing link and link video. they were both sung by L's english voice actor. Light's death was sad too when he died peacefully, i actually feel bad for him there. I also felt bad for Misa, after seeing her singing the song.. XC I heard she suicide or something =\ the saddest part of L's death was to me when he finaaly closed his eyes, he looked as if he died peacefully yet he didnt manage to capture Kira.. my heart exploded ='[

Dude, I haven't even seen the videos where he died, but I read the summary and even THAT made me cry...WHY CAN'T HE LIVE??? NOOOO, L!

L!!!!!!!!!! You'r death made cry sooo long and it made me HATE Light. I used to think he was ok a cool guy... until he killed my beloved L.

I thought it was sad because Mello knew he was going to die

what can i say? i'm a sucker for sad scenes D': i love the live action movie for death note(the second one) because L lives! :DD it was such a freakin shocker. such a good plot twist ;) but then again, L dies in the third movie T__T i recommend u see them!
and Sochiro's death was sad too because he didn't know his son was Kira..i REALLY hated Light in that scene.. >.> then again, the movie has a totally different twist :)

..............i hated it so much because it was awhile back and i was watching an amv before i had really started watching deathnote and i was like.....'whats happening to L wait! dont you close your freaking eyes on me!!!!!!!!!!!'......and thats the day my hatred was born for light 0_0

when i first watched death note i saw L die and i was like "er... what? who killed him? how did he get killed? WHY was he killed?..." and i just went on and on with my questions and i even thought for a minute that near killed him until i read the manga more and everything became sad to me when i watched that episode again...

But it's also true that Mello, Matt & Near won't came into the story if L didn't die .. am I right? ...

I was also sad of M&M deaths ... poor ones !!

I actually supprised myself when I was sad when Light died! I think all the deaths were sad, but espially L and Lights.

Also, I somehow knew that L's was going to be the top pick...

I was expecting it, but it was still sad. I was also upset when Mello died, but I think I was more angry than anything in that case because I hate Takada.

L's death broke my heart. :'( Lights was pretty sad too, even though I'd been mad at him, it turned out I was pretty attached to the guy.

I cry everytime I see it... my sister (who doesn't watch Death Note* was all, "Its just a cartoon character! Why are you crying like a baby? Get over it!" I yelled at her.

When L died I cried my heart out...I still cry when I rewatch the episode where he dies or when I reread the chapter in which he dies...Just finished watching the 2nd movie where he dies too ... [starts crying again]

The last thing he saw was his murderer smiling because of his death....just so cruel~

I also thought Soichiro's death was very sad~
