His father was gone. He'd died for their planet. He'd died to defeat Cell, a job that was supposed to be his.

He felt terrible, a deep pit feeling in his stomach . . . empty, an eternal loss.

A/N: Hmm... well, like I said, a typical 日 for the androids. Only made into a humor. Trunks would be so mad at me if he saw how nonchalant I made his living nightmare. Oh, well. I loved 書く this anyway. It's mostly dialogue though, I'd say....
