I think Kat Dennings would be a good Andrea.

You have to remember that with effort Daria can look like a prep if she wanted to. I think my choice was influenced that even though Ellen looks more like Daria than Kat, Kat seems like she'd have more bite with her expressions like Daria vs. Ellen perhaps coming off kind of mopey rather than snarky when it came to speaking.

Neither of these, and I can't think of anyone else I'd consider to be Daria if they ever decided to be stupid and make a real life movie. Ellen Page is a definitely DNW though...just no.

Kat Dennings reminds me of a goth Hilary Duff. I don't know why.

Once again, good choices! But, I'm sticking to my original. I also dont' think Kat Dennings is nearly as cool, or nonchalant, or jaded as she TRIES to be. I find her to be pretty transparent, I think she's trying to hard, when the whole point is not trying at all. But, that's just what I think.
