As I see it, it is impossible to choose anyone over family, even if you believe you would but really once it comes to REALLY choosing family comes first. and I think even Stefan would choose Damon over Elena if he had to, he already did once, so...

It's extremely difficult to say. But his actions and words speak of his greater love for her, "No one is going to hurt you, especially not my brother." And, "I will always choose you."

The thing is, Damon's love for Elena is so strong and out of this world that I don't he could ever choose anyone else over her, even his brother. Not that he doesn't love his brother, because he does and would do anything to save him...it's just that his love for Elena surpasses that.

I don't know why I picked this one.I mean Elena is his love,he loves her more than he loves himself,but Stefan is his brother,he's his brother for a 145 years and he would do anything for him.
I think if it ever comes down between Elena and Stefan he would pick Stefan! I can't explain you this xD

Stefan is his brother and when he'll know about Stefan saved him again he'll choose him.. But in this way his feelings for Elena will grow more and we might see this kind of forbidden between DE ♥
