I keep thinking that it's an act to trick Katherine (and that Elena will question how she feels in that moment) but my second choice would have to be that it's Stefan's dream (causing him to worry about his relationship with Elena and go the Katherine).

I have no idea and I don't want to think about it (although I wish it's real, but I just don't see happening for real given Elena doesn't want anything to do with him). I'm just gonna see it happen.
And one thing I'm sure is that True Blood already made me suffer with the whole Sookie/Eric dream/fantasy thing, although I loved the hot scenes, but I don't want to suffer like that with Delena...

i agree with @RubyRing ^ i think they are teasing Katherine and afterwards Elena will question her feelings for Damon :)

I like the dream theory and it could be either Elena's which would be a safe way of showing us Elena feels about Damon or it could be Stefan's dream caused by Katherine to mess with him.

Well i am not quite sure. It could be any of them at the moment.
I do think its Stefan's/or Elena dream or a Kat plot or somthing

That would be cool if she thought it was Stefan and then when she sees that it was Damon, she could act all flustered and freaked out because his kiss gave her so much electricity that she was surprised that it could be Stefan and all the more when she realizes that it was Damon ;)

i thought it was a dream at first, but they've never really done dreams aside from elenas dream that was compelled by damon in 1x03 or stefans dream of damon hurting elena it's just not a regular thing
