Elena is fierce. She's human, and essentially the weakest of the group, but she fights like a trooper and would do anything to protect those she loves, including (but not limited to) putting herself in harm's way. She deserves fans' 愛 and admiration, not their censure and hatred! I think a big part of it is jealousy anyway - because she has Stefan and Damon, as well as others, totally ga-ga over her. Jealousy is an ugly emotion, especially when it manifests itself over the internet!
Not my words, but they may as well been. A lot of people assume Delena ファン only like them because of Damon. If that is the case for you, then あなた are NOT a Delena fan; あなた are a Damon ファン who would like him with anybody. But as far as I know all of us 愛 Elena too, and with a good reason. This girl has had her world turn upside down and she's still a fighter and puts everyone else's well-being before hers. After admitting she was being selfish and broke up with Stefan, she didn't jump back into his arms the 次 night just because Katherine was defeated. She knew there was もっと見る and even though it pained her not to be with Stefan, she chose the safety of her family first. In season 1 she did everything she could to protect Jeremy from the whole vampire situation. Granted, it kind of blew up in her face in the end, but her intentions were pure. Pure. That's another thing. She has such a big heart. I can't imagine having gone through everything that she has and still be sympathetic and understanding towards others. Her relationship with Damon is the greatest example of this. Here's a guy who started out as a cold blooded killer and gradually over time, with her presence in his life, he changed for the better. Damon did not deserve anything from Elena other than pure hatred. He was evil, which made people hate him, which meant he had nobody to care about him, which meant he would go back to doing cruel things. This was a vicious cycle that lasted 145 years...until he met Elena. She gave him a chance, she tried to understand him, she forgave him for his past and tried to see the man underneath the cocky mask. Nobody else did that, and nobody else should have been expected to, but Elena did. That's why he fell in 愛 with her; she didn't treat him like a monster. Even at a time when she hated him the most, she still understood him.
he doesn't want to feel, he wants to be hated...it's just easier that way
It really doesn't surprise me that Stefan&Damon are so in 愛 with this girl. I've seen people hating on her and I truly think a lot of it does have to do with jealousy. I could go on and on about why this girl is so kick-ass, but I think I've made my point. In any case, while my 愛 for Damon exceeds that of any other fictional character, I can't think of a better person to match his awesomeness.
