Damon & Elena Article: A look at the EW Covers

This is probably so outdated already but I just had to share.

I've noticed something in the EW 写真 that the trio did. To some people, they may have just seen Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesly. But they failed to see that they were actually portraying their characters in the shoot. Can't really blame あなた though. The 写真 were distracting. Anyways, I always thought that the themes used in the Ian-Nina and then Paul-Nina pics meant something. White and innocent for the former. Black and seductive for the latter. I thought it was about Damon and Stefan at first so that's why I got so confused. I thought that because Damon is portrayed to be the not-so-good Salvatore that he'd get the dark theme while Stefan, being the "good" brother, would have gotten the lighter one. It made sense. But, no, the themes were interchanged.

Then it suddenly hit me. The themes weren't revolving on the two guys after all. It was about Nina. Well, もっと見る specifically, her character.

Nina was definitely playing Elena Gilbert in her 写真 with Ian. She was smiling and looking at あなた with innocent doe eyes. Even the body language screamed Elena: hand in Damon's hair, holding hands with Damon, and hugging Damon from behind. All of the 写真 of the two of them in the EW shoot made me want to say 'awwww' which I did anyway. Damon and Elena [Ian and Nina] looked happy and very much in love.

But in her 写真 with Paul, Nina was dark, alluring and almost evil. That does not fit the character 説明 of Elena at all. Unless... Stefan wasn't with Elena in their shoot but with Nina's other character, Katherine. That would explain the black sheets and the choice of lingerie. Gone were the innocent smiles and loving looks. They were replaced with seductive smirks and teasing looks. Very Katherine Pierce, don't あなた think?

And now I'm hearing about the new TV Guide covers. I've seen the one with Nina and Ian, and I definitely agree that they are Elena and Damon in that photo. But, unfortunately, I still haven't seen the Nina-Paul cover so I can't really tell if Nina looks like Katherine in that one.

But if it did happen to be true, then the EW covers couldn't have been a coincidence. It would then be a foreshadowing for the show, a clue that it will be Stefarine and, もっと見る importantly, Delena in the end.

delenasalvatore It does seem a bit odd that the director of the photo shoot decided on black for Nina-Paul/SE and white for Ian-Nina/DE. Why didn't both couples have the same colour? Or similar colours, like purple and red? I would also be inclined to agree that Nina does look more like Katherine in her pic with Paul. BLACK SATIN sheets and BLACK lacy lingerie? Definitely more S/K than SE. I would have thought that an SE pic would have had a more wholesome vibe. Black is universally associated with darkness and symbolic of evil (in most cases), whereas white represents purity. This is why the deliberate choice of colour scheme used for the 2 separate covers are so ironic and perplexing. I have seen the SE cover for TV Guide's comic con special, and without a doubt, the cover is very reminiscent of SK. Elena does not look like Elena, she looks like Katherine: teasing, playful, the seductress who is very much in charge of the relationship (she has one hand holding his tie), who's got him wrapped around her finger. He's very much focused on her, but she's got this 'alluring/amused' expression on her face that says "I'm the boss you know." On the DE cover, she is definitely Elena.

The Beginning and The End: Why 3x22 Made It もっと見る Likely That DE Will Be Endgame

Imagine for a 分 that 3x22 had ended with Elena choosing Damon. Think of how euphoric あなた would feel. Then picture this: right after the phone-call she makes to Stefan, in which she tells him that as much as she loves him, she has to give a relationship with Damon a shot, there is a flashback which re-writes everything about SE/DE あなた thought あなた knew, thus making Stelena もっと見る likely to be endgame. How would あなた feel then? Would あなた still be happy that Elena had chosen Damon, または would あなた wonder what exactly あなた had won?
I don't see how anybody who considers herself a true Stelena shipper...

So before i start this let me just say that YES, I'm being a bad girl and looking at コメント that Bamon/Stelena ファン are making. Let me first just say that if あなた don't already know me, I'm not one to try and have drama between the fanbases. I'm gathering this material from multiple places [not just fanpop] and it all started with me just trying to get DB/SE アイコン for a pick i was going to do!

Please, no one take this as an invitation to harass any other shippers kay! This is just for us to have a laugh at some of the absurd things being thrown at our couple & fanbase!
