The hate needs to stop!: Considering there hasn't been much of a change in his character since early season 3, people all of-a-sudden deciding to hate him now doesn't even make sense. He wanted to talk to Blair while his world is falling apart because she's the only one who would understand. HOW DARE HE?! If I'm not mistaken, Blair is the one who said they couldn't be together and he was being a good guy and respecting that. So he hasn't been following her around or bothering her.
