Of Course Not.You Can't Define Someone As Evil By His Beliefs But With His Actions.Christianity Also Teaches Us That. Also Don't Lump Atheists And Agnostics Together. There's A Mayor Difference Between Them.Atheists Don't Believe In God While Agnostics Believe That There Is Impossible At The Moment For The Human Being To Know With Certainty If There Is A God.That Doesn't Mean That They Refuse His Existence !!!!
Well, from a Christian pov, according to The Bible, anyone who doesn't repent of sins can't enter the kingdom of God. I'm not going to tell you "hey, you're going to hell!", but I will tell you The Truth, Which is God's Word. We aren't to be condemning, but we aren't supposed to be tolerant either, since all have sinned and fallen short of The Glory of God. People that are speaking The Truth without condemnation, but with The Truth of God's Word, all of it, are *speaking the truth in love.*
no. lets not go pointing fingers here. we cant judge anyone else for their beliefes when they may have understandable reasons for beliveing what they believe. christians cant judge atheists, just as athiests cant judge christians. because at the end of the day, we are ALL sinners here. and we all deserve eternal damnation. but we dont have it. because jesus paid the ultimate price when he died on the cross, death was defeated, and their is no condemnation for those that are in christ jesus.
Beliefs ppl hold of their own religion, should never be applied to others who are not believers of said religion. If your religion tells you that all who do not believe in "said religion" are damned to hell, cant possibly be a good religion- but hey, if your religion helps you understand the world in which YOU live in, if it helps you make sense of LIFE, then knock yourself out, if it does make you a better person!! please by all means, keep practising/believing in your religion. but, please, try your hardest to understand, that your religions "laws" are not applicable to those who do not believe in your religion- The same CANNOT be said of science, those laws apply to everyone and everything, not 1 single bias of any kind
The way a person gets salvation is by believing in God, and those who don't believe will go to hell. I think this verse describes everything perfectly: "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."(John 3:36)
No. A persons' personal views/beliefs don't necessarily determine their morality. Using God to shame people for not living up to your specific version of morality is WRONG. It's suggesting that anyone who divinates from Christianity is deemed the same as a terrorist and that's insane.
Believe in God, Jesus and the Bible as much as you like, that's your right. But the minute you use your religion to "belief shame" everyone else, that's the moment where you've gone to far. If you're a Christian with this self-righteous attitude, go take a long walk off a short cliff.
@PrincesTale guess we have different definitions then. A blameless person choosing to sacrifice himself to pay for our sins sounds pretty merciful to me.
