Re My Thoughts On The こんにちは Arnold! Reboot (My Response to KataraLover)

KataraLover I definitely agree about the touchy subjects. What I love about the show is that is did talk about touchy subjects, but it never went too far. It never talked about sex (besides, of course, the hinting at it in some scenes but is never a major plot) or anything too adult. That helped kids be able to watch it by making it kid friendly enough, but also had adults be able to look back on it and see how truly great it is. Let's face it, a lot of shows and movies people have grown up with don't really hold up as an adult, but shows like Hey Arnold and Ducktales really hold up. I'm surprised that Arnold is your favorite, I expected your favorite to be Helga. They actually do sometimes change the setting, in fact there was a vacation episode called Summer Love. But yeah, it does usually stay in the same place for most of the show. That's definitely one of the weaker elements of the show, it's the characters, subjects, writing, humor, and emotions that make the show so great. But I do agree that the setting could use some more variety. I appreciate how you tried to do your video, despite still having your cough, and you did do a pretty good job. Too bad you and I didn't have the time to just watch every single episode of Ducktales and Hey Arnold! so we could understand it completely. Unfortunately, life got in our way. I'm glad you like the show and I agree with pretty much everything you said. I hope you feel better soon.

cruella Thanks. Sorry that it's not one of my best videos. Yeah, I know it never had sex as major plot point, but still I think even hints of it are best left out of kids shows. Lol, I was kind of surprised that Arnold become my favorite character too, because I usually like really flawed characters. I'm glad that you agree with most of what I said. I'm already doing better, I just had a hard time talking for so long.
