War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) take the fight to Team Cap in "Captain America: Civil War."
People might still be scratching their heads at why Batman is punching Superman, but there\'s no question in
why the factions of Team Cap and Team Iron Man are facing off. Sure, there\'s a whole thing about the dividing line being the world wanting the Avengers on a leash of sorts, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) thinking superheroes need to be in check, and Steve Rogers disagreeing quite wholeheartedly because of, you know, freedom and stuff.
But, as they discuss in this exclusive video, directors Joe and Anthony Russo also wanted to radically depart from their last film,
r story line from the comics (though a bit tweaked) to make every hero a protagonist and an antagonist.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. discuss the story origins in this exclusive featurette from "Captain America: Civil War." Marvel Studios
"The Russos, they make human stories with a superhero feel, as opposed to a superhero movie with human touches. ... It\'s not villain vs. hero. It\'s friends, it\'s family. That\'s what makes it such a good conflict."
All that personal drama is cool, yet it also gives us neato scenes like this.
