Hardest Buffy question possible. I have clear and precise favorite couples, characters, etc but favorite season is by far the hardest. But I just love Faith and The Mayor so much, plus the majority of my favorite episodes are in this season (Doppelgangland, Graduation Day, Homecoming, Lover's Walk, Enemies, Earshot, Choices, The Prom, Band Candy...). Next would probably be either season 4, 2, or 6. But I also love 5, 7, and 1 so much!

Same here what spikes_girl mentioned that this is hardest Buffy fan pick. But I chose Season 7 because I love the storyline between these following characters, Buffy/Spike, Spike/Faith, Xander/Spike, Dawn/Spike, Giles/Spike, & Willow Tara.. But there are many reasons why I chose Season 7, its about "DESTINY", Buffy following the path of "Slayer" - Willow on redeming herself from "Magics" - Spike on following the path of a vampire with a soul, and his rebuilding relationship with Buffy - Dawn following her sisters footsteps. Love all the moments in this Season, also love Season 4,5 & 6 ...Season 6 has the Hottest scenes of Buffy & Spike wickedly dark and sexy.

although i dont have one perticular favourite season (5, 6 and 7 mostly)
ive been thinking it through and i think quite alot of my favourite episodes are in S7, so i guess its the 'best' season :P ♥

I think season 7 is the best season.It's there when Buffy finally accpets her destiny as a Slayer and starts to let people in again.

i gess i liked season 4 cause its the season that Spike really came into the picture and not just as - bad guy > but as kinda part of the scooby gang - i love eps were Spikes hand cuffed to the bathtube - such a great eps
