I READ: because one life isn't enough, and in the pages of a
book I can be anybody;

Meaning that 本 are an escape path. It doesn't matter if あなた are the mousy girl that blends into the background. または the boy who is never seen without a book. When あなた read, あなた become someone else, whether あなた realize it または not.

I READ: because the words that build the story become mine,
to build my life;

Meaning that あなた learn when あなた read. It doesn't, matter if the book is fantasy, または realistic fiction, または science fiction, you'll learn something from it. Take 'celerity' for an example. ten bucks says that no one knows what it means. Celerity is a synonym for rapidity, または speed.

I READ: not for happy endings but for new beginnings; I'm just
beginning myself, and I wouldn't mind a map;

Exactly. some of the best 本 have sad endings. Like Old Yeller, または Where the Red シダ Grows. Bittersweet endings. Without those types of books, there would be no variety. We would end up with happy endings everywhere, and life isn't like that. Sometimes a dose of reality is healthy.

I READ: because I have フレンズ that don't and young though
they are, they're beginning to run out of materials;

Sad reality. Nobody seems to have the time for it anymore.

I READ: because every journey begins at the library, and it's
time for me to start packing;

I READ: because one of these days I'm going to get out of this
town and I'm going to go everywhere and meet everyone, an I
want to be ready.

J.K. Rowlings world of harry potter is fantstic!!! She took everything we know about ファンタジー 書く and bended it into a oposite realitiy called harry potter. We all know stories of werwolves, but professer lupin, a teacher at Hogwarts, is a freindly one with a background of mystery. J.K. Rowling made it clear that he is a character to like. All of her characters are eteremly likeable, even the vilanous lucsious malfoy. With seven 本 in all for the harry potter series, each one better than the last, we all wish she would continue the story of frendship, hardship, and ファンタジー that is harry potter. 読書 the series is a must. No mater how many times あなた have read the series, ejoyment comes with each encounter. READ HARRY POTTER!!!

The 100 Most Influential 本 Ever Written: The History of Thought from Ancient Times to Today

I am によって no means a great votary of any kind of "Best" lists and find them too subjective and at times highfalutin. But this 一覧 of the 100 most influential & mind-expanding 本 ever written seemed quite apposite and all-encompassing. British literary critic & historian Seymour-Smith's survey of what he considers the 100 most influential 本 is a searching inquiry into major thinkers, writers and philosophers. Seymour-Smith finds most modernist techniques already...

Seth wasn’t trying to pretend things were all right.
“I don’t know what happened between あなた two before tonight but I can probably guess…”
The look Keenan gave him confirmed Seth’s fears.
“Right. Here’s the thing. If she chooses to give あなた もっと見る than her friendship, it’ll suck for me. Probably how あなた feel now.”
Keenan was motionless, but it was much the same way that caged lions became motionless – sizing あなた up for weakness. For all their feigning humanity, faeries were something Other. Aislinn was Other, and the longer she was with them, the further away from mortal normalcy...

The fourth book in the Iron Fey series is easily my お気に入り and I’m sure I won’t be alone in thinking that. At the end of the third book, Meghan banished Ash from the Iron Realm, knowing he would stay によって her side despite how harmful living in the Iron Realm would be to his health. But before he left, Ash made an oath that he would find a way to be with her. The Iron Knight tells the story of Ash’s...

I never really planned 読書 Hush Hush. In bookstores, I just passed によって the books, seeing Hush Hush in a display. I know its about Fallen 天使 but the cover didn't buy me. I didn't study it too well...until I read it.

I borrowed the book from my classmate who's an ultimate bookworm. I started 読書 it since she handed it to me. I finished it just today. =)

For me, Patch was bad-ass, sense of humor, sweet and caring. I liked the way he did to Nora when they were making tacos in the キッチン then she was sat up on the counter and Patch started キス her jaw. Also another one especially the...

Goleman in his groundbreaking book reveals that neural linkages between humans influence the brain and the body. These invisible bridges give us the ability to change people's moods, emotions, and health - as these people can do to us. Our interactions with people influences our immune system, circulation, hormones, and breathing for example.

A MUST READ

The simple but irresistible premise of Alan Weisman's The World Without Us - what would happen to the planet if human beings simply disappeared - lit up imaginations even as it ignited controversy around the world.

Weisman's "thought experiment" examines what would happen in both the immediate and distant future to the land, the animals, the oceans, our cities, our art, and all manner of things we take for granted if we were no longer here. Would the seas again teem with fish? Would our concrete jungles crumble to make way for natural ones? How long, if ever, would it take for our collective footprint to fade away?

Available in hard cover, paperback and CD

Beautiful and passionate!

Could 音楽 unlock the mystery of who we are and how we think?

An unprecedented blend of science and art, Daniel Levitin’s bestselling debut, This Is Your Brain on Music, changed the way we understand how 音楽 gets in our heads. Now, in what is being called a tour de force によって leading scientists, he presents his audacious theory of ‘six songs,’ the key to how 音楽 shaped humanity across cultures and throughout history.
