本 are もっと見る than just sentences strung together to help us pass the time. They are whole lives, worlds that have been freed from the writers thoughts, only to be captured again between the pages of a book, which is the only thing keeping it there. What these lives need is a savior, someone メリダとおそろしの森 enough to venture through the whole story, no matter where it takes you, no matter what the plot twist. They need someone who can venture through the characters in-most thoughts, survive, and still want more.
YOU, my friend, are that person.

The 100 Most Influential 本 Ever Written: The History of Thought from Ancient Times to Today

I am によって no means a great votary of any kind of "Best" lists and find them too subjective and at times highfalutin. But this 一覧 of the 100 most influential & mind-expanding 本 ever written seemed quite apposite and all-encompassing. British literary critic & historian Seymour-Smith's survey of what he considers the 100 most influential 本 is a searching inquiry into major thinkers, writers and philosophers. I never really planned 読書 Hush Hush. In bookstores, I just passed によって the books, seeing Hush Hush in a display. I know its about Fallen 天使 but the cover didn't buy me. I didn't study it too well...until I read it.

I borrowed the book from my classmate who's an ultimate bookworm. I started 読書 it since she handed it to me. I finished it just today. =)

For me, Patch was bad-ass, sense of humor, sweet and caring. I liked the way he did to Nora when they were making tacos in the キッチン then she was sat up on the counter and Patch started キス her jaw. Also another one especially the...

Daniel Goleman, 2006, 334 pages

Goleman in his groundbreaking book reveals that neural linkages between humans influence the brain and the body. Our interactions with people influences our immune system, circulation, hormones, and breathing for example.

A MUST READ

The simple but irresistible premise of Alan Weisman's The World Without Us - what would happen to the planet if human beings simply disappeared - lit up imaginations even as it ignited controversy around the world.

Weisman's "thought experiment" examines what would happen in both the immediate and distant future to the land, the animals, the oceans, our cities, our art, and all manner of things we take for granted if we were no longer here. Would the seas again teem with fish? Would our concrete jungles crumble to make way for natural ones? How long, if ever, would it take for our collective footprint to fade away?

Available in hard cover, paperback and CD

Beautiful and passionate!
