A little torn here lool I’m glad she has got a doctor, that lives and gets old with her forever, really… but he is not the one she felt in love with, I'm happy she got the 2nd doctor but she could have had a better ending with 1st one, like kissing him, saying he will be the one etc etc etc… I like the episode to bitts but that part was a little disappointing, for me at least! Still Im happy with her getting the 2nd doctor just for her =D

I'm glad for Rose, of course, but for the first Doctor I sobbed and sobbed. I think the fact that he left her with the second Doctor is a testament to how much he loves her. He knew that he could never give her forever and he could never be truly open about his feelings because they'd always know that he'd have to live on without her eventually. He broke his own heart so that she could have forever with his other self.
So in conclusion, yes I'm happy for Rose but it was completely bittersweet because of what the Doctor had to give up.

You said it perfectly rohosoho! It's incredibly sad for the Doctor... I think I'm more sad than happy. But if you think about it, if Rose did come back she'd probably end up dying and that's far worse! Because like rohosoho said, they can't have forever. So it was either leave her to be happy or wait for her to die! Anyone else could die (except Jack) but not Rose. She's too special to the Doctor and too special to us. It really does say how much he loves her which makes me even angrier that he can't be with her! I'm so torn!

It depends. I'm a little torn about it. I'm happy for Rose, because she has a man she can love in a dimension with her family, but the Doctor has no one again.

She's got a Doctor but not the real so maybe she could be happy with her half Time Lord but the Doctor will always be alone and have heartbreak without his Rose. It's a big sacrifice.

I don't think thing could have worked out any better for rose coz not only did she get get to grow old with the man she loved but she didn't have to leave her family.
I'm heartbroken for the Doctor though.

i'm devestated rose cant have her doctor, but im glad she got the other doctor because he can stay withher and grow old and live their lives together, whereas the doctor is on his ow again and he knows that he'll have to live with that decision for the rest of his lives, even though he will regret it for the rest of time he knows he did whats best for her, cause he knew he couldn't give her what she wanted.

but he's happy if she's happy.....the doctor will never really get over rose cause he loves her to much and even though he may never see her again she will always occupy a very very specail place in both of his hearts and his in hers.

I'm so torn with this. I am glad you has the Doctor but once again said it isn't the Doctor. I would go on but it's been said. I only want to add that this is one of the best relationships I have ever seen. It's so bittersweet and heartwrenching. I like to smile when I cry and this pairing always manages it.

I just hate how she's with a doctor who looks exactly like the doctor, but isn't her doctor... sad.

Rose should be with the real doctor. I know it's the same doctor but with out that adventure and travel in his life it just doesn't seem right i guess.

like what everyone said. rose should've gotten HER doctor, but at the same time, what an incredibly selfless move on the doctors part. he put her happiness before his own. i feel like th edoctor never really got his goofy spark back after doomsday, and he just wanted Rose to have a good life. that's totally sweet, but i was still really torn while watching this scene.

Sad for the doctor and glad for rose, unless rose become a time lord it would ve been impossible for them to live together. I feel bad for the doc

That would be the best show ever! anyhow, I just wanted to agree with everyone and add that according to Tardis Data Core wiki, they have a Tardis coral so maybe they can save their alternite universe and stuff! Also, Ten would have had to regenerate at some point and I just dont think 11 would have worked with rose cos of the whole river thing and srry but River is kind of annoying. Least I think so.
