BelieverNOT Dear Theist(s), I would like you to imagine a crime ("sin") that would make you decide to punish by DEATH every person on the planet. Try to come up with something so bad, that would make YOU kill almost everybody, then share your thoughts with us, please. At some point you'll realize, that you can't think of anything so severe, that would make all people deserving such a punishment. You wouldn't kill every German person in the world because of Nazis crimes, would you? Plus it would be wise to consider if really everybody that's going to be drowned have committed that crime. Otherwise it is not justice and it is not good. If you'll say, that this story is not suppose to be taken literally, but it's just a presentation of god's power, then you are right - he is powerful. But does this make him good? Is that god's love? not interested.
