Assassin's Creed: Retaliation takes place during the American Civil War where the main character is a slave born on a plantation and had his childhood and adulthood family murdered によって the same group of Templars. He sought out an assassin mentor who taught the slave many skills in the assassin arts. によって the time the slave was 30 he had made an agreement to President リンカーン to help out the Union Army. He partook in many of America's greatest battles and helped American slaves become free. His name is Daniel Greene.
