Melisey Yes he shakes her out of love. And it is not that hard of a shake. People are exaggerating immensely. Yes Issie ANGST. This is one of our most anticipated scenes. While others dread it we are going crazy over it. I can hardly wait. The look on his face. Everything. Bring it. We can be the odd twins. So many wants fluff and kisses. We want angst and explosive scenes. This show has stepped up their game.

HumbleQueen I thought it was later too, Kim. The more I think about it, it seems to go with all that "destory Gwen" stuff that's coming. And she has on the lavender dress here. Don't know for sure but we'll see. The story line of the next episode seems to focus on Merlin, the Knights, and that Isle of the Blessed business. Oh, and the pyre scene.

EPaws Oh I think I got the twist in this. I think I know what ARthur is angry about and it is a twist. Apparently she says these lines to him: “I asked him to look after you and he promised me with his life… He was **** ** *** ****”? Which leads me to believe without question the sacrifice is Lancelot in the end. Arthur is ridiculously honourable. This shit would not go over well. Oh it is epic. It will end in tears. Oh I am moderately psychotic so I am looking forward to it.

kbrand5333 Yeah, Stacey, after reading that teaser I'm beginning to agree. At least then the infamous Shake will be over and done with and people can stop bitching about it. I'm also now convinced that it's Lance who emerges from the Lake. He's the only one apart from Merlin with dark enough hair (that's not long and luxurious), and it's DEFINITELY not Merlin coming out of the lake. Too tan, too much shoulder. HumbleQueen Oh! Oh! Oh! Now I want this scene to be in Episode 2. I want to see it!!!!! I think so too, Kim, after reading what Gwen says to Arthur. At first I thought it was later because of the dress, that it didn't come until later, but then I remember when we first saw Angel in the new dresses it was during filming in late April and that's when they were filming the early episodes. EPaws Kim I am so with you. I knew it could not be Arthur (blonde hair gets brown looking when wet but not onyx) and the width of body and bredth is just not Merls. So it has to be Lance-Boy. Quite right, it cannot be Clairol Boy either. So it must be Lancelot. Having said that. If one of the males in this house dares to speak to me whilst I am watching (scottish terrier, son, or tall drink of water) I won't be held accountable for what will happen to them lol!

EPaws Jen and I were just taking this apart and we are both highly amused by the fact that Bradley barely steps into the shove so as to lower the impact and Angel moves in anticipation of the shake. They are adorable. We suspect Dale will shot it from three angles with appropriate sound effects to give you the impression of real force cause there really is none. He has a firm grasp of her, just in case she totters. Just look. Hence I rolled my eyes at the ballyhoo that was going on about this gif. WHATEVER!

lv2rt Actually, I didn't have a problem with either Uther or this with Athur. Hey, I've written sacrifices of babies to a medieval god...so I wasn't shocked. But if someone is going to have a problem with this which is really minor in nature, what Uther did should have had people blowing up twitter. For me I would have loved to see Arthur's reaction to it. I wanted him to find out. But no luck.

EPaws Ahhh, understood Linda. Having agreed, I am kind of glad Arthur did not witness it because for the second time in the series, Uther would have been at blade tip as Arthur attempted to kill him. The last time was re his mother, Ygraine. LOL! I like your style lol. Take no prisoners writer.

kbrand5333 We must remember the time period in which this show takes place as well. A king slapping a maid or a man shaking a woman would not have been uncommon at all.

EpicArwen If that is what this is about, I'd love for her to say something about being willing to sacrifice a hundred Lancelots just to keep him safe. It would be a huge statement as to how much she loves him, he'd not have any questions she chose him AND it could come back to him when the whole Gwen/Lance enchantment thing happens as his red flag that something isn't right. I know it won't happen, but girl can dream. :)
