This year's 33rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Mecha-Naruto — the new character that will appear in the NARUTO -ナルト- Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution game — will also appear in the アニメ itself. The magazine teases that the アニメ will reveal the true identity of this mecha that is a spitting image of NARUTO -ナルト- himself.
The playable character has three modes: the normal "Mecha-Naruto," which can then evolve into a "Kyūbi Mode," and then a "Kyūbi Mode (Mecha Kurama Version)." Each time the mecha evolves, it gets stronger.
Mecha-Naruto is one of the new characters that original マンガ creator Masashi Kishimoto is personally designing for the new game. The game will feature new gameplay mechanics, including the Combination Ultimate Jutsu attacks that allow players to combine powers to create もっと見る powerful techniques. The game will also feature もっと見る than 100 playable characters from both the NARUTO -ナルト- and NARUTO -ナルト- Shippūden anime.
CyberConnect2 is again developing the fighting game, and Namco Bandai Games has already announced that the game will ship in the Americas for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC (Steam) on September 16. The game will also ship in 日本 on September 11 and in ヨーロッパ on September 12.
