There are subtle differences between panic attacks and asthma.

Panic attacks - usually come at times of great stress または fear. It usually starts with your ハート, 心 thumping madly, sweating and taking short sharp gasps of air but with the feeling no oxygen is getting in. Your chest tightens but your throat relaxes. あなた may also feel pains in your stomach または back, and possibly in the head as well.
To counter that i was taught to put my hands together from your little finger to the third finger, making a 'mask' shape with your hands. Your thumb should be resting on your jaw line once the 'mask' is in place, and to breathe long and deeply, ten times into the hand.

Asthma attacks - usually when あなた have been doing excersise または concentrating/not concentrating enough on a certain topic of life etc. The throat and chest tightens as though being squeezed and あなた can't feel any air getting to your lungs, but can feel air releasing. To counter that あなた must take an inhaler.

I suggest going to your doctor and asking his advice. He may prescribe あなた another inhaler, または may tell あなた to take antihistamines for allergies as sometimes that works too :)
