Why would I do this? Please help!

あなた see, I was looking through my 写真 with my sister, and we came across this one 写真 of my dad when he was about 10 または 11, and I took it into my room to keep it, I'm not sure why though. Why would I take this photo? I don't really know, so do any of あなた have any clue as to why I would take it and put it in my room?

This is a hard one to answer not knowing your family situation. Is あなた dad still around? There maybe something about the 写真 that makes あなた feel a connection with your dad. あなた may of taken the 写真 so あなた would not loose that connection.
Is there somewhere nearby that あなた could get a copy made of the photo? If so, あなた could have one for yourself without depriving your family. Just a thought. Hope it helps.
