Rosie Goes to High School
After finishing elementary, my parents decided to transfer me to the British School for my high school. It was also during this time that I gained an interest in studying 音楽 in England for my college, and this was the perfect starting point for me. Zack transferred here as well. One day, while eating lunch at the cafeteria, he became sad and sighed heavily. I asked him, "What's the matter, Zack? Is something bothering you?" He replied, "Rosie, I hate to tell あなた this, but my grandfather has been diagnosed with diabetes recently. My parents told me that, after I graduate with you, we have no choice but to 移動する back to the province as I have to help them in taking care of him. This also means we won't be able to see each other again." He then fell into my arms and cried, "I'm going to miss あなた so much, my friend!" I gave him a comforting hug and replied in a soothing tone, "It's going to be all right, buddy. I'm going to miss you, too, but I understand what あなた and your family are going through right now." Zack wiped his tears and asked, "You do?" I replied, "Yes, I do. あなた know, even though we won't be seeing each other again after graduation, I will never forget you, and あなた will always be in my heart." My words made Zack smile. He said, "Aw! You're right, Rosie. You'll always be in my heart, too." I smiled back and replied, "Indeed, Zack. I do wish あなた could come with me to England, though." Zack remarked, "I wish I could, too. That would be wonderful." I said, "Certainly. Anyways, let's just make the most our time together." Zack nodded and replied, "Yep. Thanks again for your assuring words, Rosie." "You're welcome, Zack. What are フレンズ for?" I responded. We then shared another big hug before walking back to the classroom as lunch break ended.

For most of the duration of 2015, my mother and I went on field trips and attended cultural seminars. In June of this year, we visited Vancouver, Canada. We stayed at the Gage Residences, which is located in the 大学 of British Columbia. We explored the campus and city, visited a friend, and even rode the skytrain right up to the last stop. It was yet another fun trip for us. We also went back to Cebu in September. As a pre-birthday treat, my mother bought me tickets to see Rick Astley in コンサート when he visited my country. He's my お気に入り singer from the 80's. We had a blast during the concert, and my mother would scream, "Go Rick!" as he goofed around and joked onstage. This コンサート made her reminisce about her youth, too. After the concert, we traveled back to Singapore on my birthday, where she attended a Teaching of English as a 秒 Language seminar. We also continued our celebration there.

This is an 記事 for my special friend, 80smusiclover1 (Kelly). This was a request specifically from her, so here it is.
あなた are a wonderful friend, and I am glad that we met. From the time we met, あなた have accepted me for who I am. あなた never judged me for any of my quirks. あなた have always been very kind. You've always shown concern for me and for my friends. If that's not what friendship is all about, then what is it about? I think あなた are a great example of what a friend should be. I count myself fortunate to have あなた as my friend. I know that sometimes the clouds get dark, but there is always a silver lining somewhere. If あなた cannot see it, I'll be there to point it out to you. あなた will never be alone. I am here for you, no matter what. You've always been here for me. Thank あなた for being here, and thank あなた for being you.
