"Hale, あなた ok?" My mom had the 'worried to death' look.

He took in a shaky breath. Please just kill me now. Just kill me so I can be with him... I prayed.
"I 愛 you, Hayley. Now, and forever. Now, can あなた smile for me before I go?" He whispered. I could see the tears welling up in his eyes. I wiped my tears away with my free hand and forced a shaky smile.
Then his eyes fluttered closed, his hand limp, and my ハート, 心 ripped out.
"No.... No. NO!!"'

My ハート, 心 felt like it was going to jump out of my rib cage and go into his, just to give him life again.
"Hayley.... Please. Don't make this harder."
"I can't... I just can't. I'll never see あなた again." I whispered through my tears. His grip on my hand grew tighter.
