I really like the different mythologies concerning ヴァンパイア from Brom Staker's Dracula's mytho.
Buffy/Angel versions of ヴァンパイア the concepts of one's soul, good vs evil, humanity and morality, no rules: like they dont have to worry about cash if they want it they take it and how spike had to learn this in s4 onwards.
Cirque Du Freak vampires: that was new, well for me anyways when i first read it lolz. (similar but different to the Moonlight vampires: as some can walk in daylight but it still can kill them over time)
Underworld: i totally 愛 it! How its a virus not a curse like other vampire mythos, ages old war between vampires-werewolves totally cool! 愛 IT!!
Twiligh: meh, they just get sparkles stuck in their eye! Vampire wannabees, vamps dont sparkle...
I think ヴァンパイア are dead. Kuput. But with dark mystical または virus making them vampires: how to become a vampire? they bite あなた suck your blood and あなた feed off them, though in アンダーワールド all i did see all what it takes to infect someone is to bite them and the virus-vampire strain (or werewolf) works it way through your system あなた either become a vampire/or werewolf (depending on what species bit you) または あなた die. (ok sounds like twilights way of turning a human-to-vampire.
Pretty much everything else except for the sparkling ヴァンパイア and total invurability thats with little または no weaknesses thats seems unrealistic to me.

CIRQUE DU FREAK <3, The 本 not the movie, Umm....and my least fav would be twilight. uughgh If those are even vampires, there mor elike retarded faries I HATE TWILIGHT!!
Umm right know its The Vampire Diaries, Then The Twilight Saga New Moon (I 愛 the 本 but the 本 don't 表示する the 狼, オオカミ pack with know shirts) Umm...The Night World series there mostly ヴァンパイア but there also 狼男 and witches but most is vampires.
My absolute お気に入り 本 right now that involve ヴァンパイア are: The Vampire Diaries によって L.J Smith Vampire Kisses Series によって Ellen Schreiber Night World によって L.J Smith (I've only read the 1st volume...) House of Night Series によって P.C and Kristen Cast I have started 読書 Cirque de Freak, but i'm still waiting for the rest of the books...

My first vampire book 愛 was twilight, but when I read/watched all the stuff listed above I realised it wasn't as good as I thought it was...and then the movie was totally messed up, but i'm hoping the 秒 one will be better =D
Any other suggestions? I'm running out of series to read? :P

lol Yeah the Cirque Du Freak series is so good. what book are あなた on. Compared to the 本 the movie was awful, but still one of my fav movies. go figure XD
I hated it too, I know if I never read the 本 I woulndt of hated so badly. XD also I read each of the 本 in 3 hours just about. I loved them wwaayy to much. <3
I always thought the history on Prince Vlad was interesting. I guess because he was a real person that inspired vampires. I also like how (some) authors/film makers add a unique twist to ヴァンパイア または modernize them (Lost Boys, The Little Vampire, movie like that).
