In the 9 months I've been here on Fanpop, I've been 与えられた a view of what Twi-haters are like. Especially over the internet. Of course, most of this hate is directed toward either, the series, the fans, the cast, and characters' redeeming qualities. Most of their 'arguments' are so ridiculous, and can be proven wrong so easily, its irritating. Here are some I've seen:
Edward and Jacob are pedophiles.
First off, a pedophile is an adult who is sexually attracted to young children.Edward is forever 17. He was never attracted to Bella, sexually. In the beginning, all he felt for Bella was hatred. And at age 17, Bella's choices make her wise beyond her years. She saves her father, によって bringing back a painful, but necessary memory. At 18, She protects her baby and chooses to give birth against Edward's wishes to abort it. Bella also starts a war,and is ready to risk her life as a vampire to protect those she loves. She continuously risks her life for love.Bella overcame the major obstacles in her path and fought her way to the place she wanted to be. She's no longer a teenager. She's an adult.
And now onto Jacob.. Jacob is also not a pedophile. Sure, he imprints on Renesmee, but it doesn't go beyond that. All he wants is for her to be happy. That's it.
There are also stages to imprinting, especially if the shape-shifter imprints on a child, または otherwise the imprintee is very young.
1st stage - If the person is young, the shape-shifter will act as an older sibling.
2nd stage - As the person grows older, the shape-shifter will also come to be their best friend.
3rd stage - They become intimate friends. Meaning, their feelings for each other are changing into romantic feelings. (Remember, this stage may または may not happen to the imprintee, but the imprinter will fall in 愛 with his imprint. They will not 'see' any other woman または man in a romantic way, at all. Their imprintee is all he/she cares about and he/she will 愛 her/him even if those feelings aren't returned.)
4th stage - When the imprintee is old enough, the shape-shifter's feelings grow into romantic/sexual love. The shape-shifter will be at all times very protective and loving to the imprintee.
Bella is a Mary Sue.
Oh, boy..A Mary Sue? Mary Sues are usually called that because they are impossibly beautiful, can do no wrong, and are hopelessly overused characters. In the books, Bella is described as being very plain. She almost always makes mistakes. Most of them..involving love. She's also very reckless and clumsy. She's not rich, または smart, または famous.Basically, a Mary Sue is perfect, a definition that doesn't really suit Bella. The similarity between the reader and Bella does not make her a Mary Sue. Since Bella has faults, and they're mostly listed in the books, she's not a Mary Sue.
Bella and Jacob are necrophiliacs.
A necrophiliac is a person sexually attracted to corpses. A corpse is a dead body. It can't speak,or think. It can't move, または bear children.Since Edward can do all of these, Bella is not attracted to a corpse. And neither is Jacob, because it isn't until the 4th stage of imprinting (see above) that his feelings for Renesmee grow into romantic feelings. And since Renesmee is half-human, she has blood running in her veins.
ヴァンパイア can't have children, because blood is needed to have an erection.
Uh, wrong. According to Stephenie Meyer,
"Vampires are physically similar enough to their human origins to pass as humans under some circumstances (like cloudy days). There are many basic differences. They appear to have skin like ours, albeit very fair skin. The skin serves the same general purpose of protecting the body. However, the cells that make up their skin are not pliant like our cells, they are hard and reflective like crystal. A fluid similar to the venom in their mouths works as a lubricant between the cells, which makes movement possible (note: this fluid is very flammable). A fluid similar to the same venom lubricates their eyes so that their eyes can 移動する easily in their sockets. (However, they don't produce tears because tears exist to protect the eye from damage, and nothing is going to be able to scratch a vampire's eye.) The lubricant-venom in the eyes and skin is not able to infect a human the way saliva-venom can. Similarly, throughout the vampire's body are many versions of venom-based fluids that retain a marked resemblance to the fluid that was replaced, and function in much the same way and toward the same purpose. Though there is no venom replacement that works precisely like blood, many of the functions of blood are carried on in some form. Also, the nervous system runs in a slightly different but heightened way. Some involuntary reactions, like breathing, continue (in that specific example because ヴァンパイア use the scents in the air much もっと見る than we do, rather than out of a need for oxygen). Other involuntary reactions, like blinking, don't exist because there is no purpose for them. The normal reactions of arousal are still present in vampires, made possible によって venom-related fluids that cause tissues to react similarly as they do to an influx of blood. Like with vampire skin—which looks similar to human skin and has the same basic function—fluids closely related to seminal fluids still exist in male vampires, which carry genetic information and are capable of bonding with a human ovum. This was not a known fact in the vampire world (outside of Joham's personal experimenting) before Nessie, because it's nearly impossible for a vampire to be that near a human and not kill her."
Edward is also an incubbus, a vampire with an ability to father children with its hapless prey.
Real ヴァンパイア don't sparkle.
Yes they do, at least last time I checked. あなた see, the cells of Stephenie's ヴァンパイア reflect light, giving them their sparkle. She chose to be creative and have them sparkle, rather than turn to ash. People should look at the facts. Sheesh, is it really that hard?
Stephenie Meyer is a shitty author, who can't write to save her own life.
Oh, really? Let's look at the facts shall we?
Since the release of the first novel, Twilight, in 2005, the 本 have gained immense popularity and commercial success around the world. The series is most 人気 among young adults; the four 本 have won multiple awards, most notably the 2008 British Book Award for "Children's Book of the Year" for Breaking Dawn, while the series as a whole won the 2009 Kids' Choice Award for お気に入り Book.
As of October 2010, the series has sold over 116 million copies worldwide, with translations into at least 38 different languages around the globe. The four Twilight 本 have consecutively set records as the biggest selling novels of 2008 on the USA Today Best-Selling 本 list, and have spent over 235 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller 一覧 for Children's Series Books. Jacob is not a werewolf.
That's because he isn't. He's a quileuete shapeshifter.Shape-shifters, often mistaken as werewolves, are descended from the ancient spirit warriors of the Quileute tribe. Back then, warriors and chiefs could leave their bodies and wander as spirits, communicate with animals, and hear each other's thoughts. However, a change impacted the tribe members hugely during Taha Aki's leadership and permanently changed their powers to shape-shifting into giant wolves.
When a member of the current generation comes across the scent of vampires, his physique will build before he phases for the first time.
Kristen Stewart can't act.
Then why has she won many awards and has become increasingly famous because of this franchise? Why has she also been named the highest paid actress? She tops this year’s Forbes 一覧 of highest-paid 女優 with earnings of $34.5 from May 2011 to May 2012.
Largely thanks to the $12.5 million (plus a share of the profits) she received for each of the two-part The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn films, Stewart dethroned reigning queens Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker, who last 年 shared the crown with an estimated $30 million each. The two women dropped to numbers four ($20 million) and seven ($15 million), respectively. See? She's made 28 movies. The woman can act.
Bella is a bad example for kids, girls especially, because she jumped off a cliff..
This one is just stupid. It's like, really? It was even stated in the book! She wasn't commiting suicide. She was cliff diving. Recreationally. Duh.
Twilight Sucks.
Yes.Yes it does. It sucks, blood. Duh. Everyone knows that.
Ah, Twilight haters. Some of us really 愛 this series, and あなた come and bash it. If あなた don't like Twilight, the least あなた could do is respect it. We're not forcing あなた to like it.

It is being reported that Taylor Lautner snagged an amazing 7.5 million to 星, つ星 in Northern Lights opposite Tom Cruise. Nikki Finki has deduced that with this sum of money Lautner has sky rocketed to being the highest paid teenaged actor in Hollywood over Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus. ファン of Twilight might think he’s worth the price tag, but as Cinema Blend points out, Lautner hasn’t carried a film on his own yet which makes the paycheck that much もっと見る impressive.
“Given that Lautner hasn’t carried a single movie without the word Twilight in the title, that’s a pretty significant gamble. Robert Pattinson’s projects beyond Twilight haven’t really gone anywhere, though granted, he hasn’t been groomed as a new 星, つ星 によって a studio in the same way. But can the Twilight effect carry on without Bella lurking somewhere in the frame?”

Coming in at number 4 the infamous crash scene from Twilight, on Moviefones 上, ページのトップへ 25 Movie Moments of the Decade.
How could anyone ever forget that scene? When I first read Twilight, and read that part, the hair was standing up on my arms and I held my breath. To actually see that on the big screen was amazing. That one scene set all future events for the Twilight Saga in place, and marked the beginning of Bella and Edward’s journey. Even though it was not exactly like the book — it was dead on in all the important aspects. I was quite pleased with how that scene turned out.
This is a poem I wrote in my spare time. I morphed it into a song and entered a contest with it. I won 3rd place! Hope あなた like.
Repeat: This is about TWILIGHT. No other books.
Going in alone.
No turning back.
I have good intentions,
But this might be my last chance.
I wonder, is the choice I'm about to make,
Really the path I should take.
Hunting me down,
Evil dreams,
Lurking in the shadows, full of pain.
Don't understand,
I'm tired of mind games,
But in the mirror, it's all the same.
Blink of an eye,
Might actually have to say goodbye,
But I hear the voice of my guardian angel,
Calling my name.
Not my last fight,
Not my last hope,
Not my last wish,
Not my last breath...
For now, my ハート, 心 is mending,
but I'm still alive.
This is about the confrontation with James at the end of the book.
I hope あなた like it. Rate and review. I'm having doubts...
