Tbh I have this true until proven false thing with these kinds of creatures. The earth is huge and has some mysterious things. The oven for example is vastly unexplored. Centuries and centuries ago there were species of animal that are known very well today that weren't in the past. Perhaps one day we'll a big foot or something like that will be one of them. But until then it's a cryptid.
