I cant answer this poll with a definite yes or no. Do I think innocent people deserve to die? No. Do I think innocent animals deserve to die? Absolutely not.
But in some aspects I think humans are greater than animals. Humans have a higher thinking than animals, we have the ability to reason and use logic and use words and do things animals simply cannot. Animals are plenty intelligent as well.
However, I don't see coats made of human skin because its "fashionable." (Unless you've watched Silence of the Lambs, then that's different.)

The closest living animals of humans are chimpanzees and gorillas with the sequencing of both the human and chimpanzee genome, current estimates of similarity between human and chimpanzee DNA sequences range between 95% and 99%.

I'm not sure exactly. I'm a vegetarian so I'm very against animal abuse or cruelty. But at the same time I don't think animals are equal to humans. I don't think a dog should run for president, I don't think a caterpillar should be mayor, I don't think a goldfish should be the pope, etc. Equal as animals should be treated fairly, but not living life the way we do.
