I dunno. Life is what あなた make of it. Everything can be an amazing story and あなた are the main character of it. Its just how あなた play your cards. Not to forget that a lot of shows, movies, and animes actually dont have that heavy of a ファンタジー background.

The main thing that makes a good main character different from reality is really just ambition または something to stretch after. Sure there is the luck of ランダム strange events and all, but essentially I dont really thing theres much monotony in a 'normal' life if あなた can figure out where あなた are heading. I dunno.
