Does anyone know how to break out of a stereotype?

Since february I've been a scene kid but I want to change because that's not who I really am. The problem is, idk how to break out of all the horrible habits I've formed over 7 long months of beating myself over the head with them--the camera-whoring, the excess of eyeliner, even the 音楽 I listen to.
Basically, how do I stop being a poser and start 芝居 like myself?

I did something like that once. When I started middle school I tried doing the whole preppy sort of thing または whatever あなた call it with the ピンク Abecrombie t shirts and Hollister and shit even though I'm もっと見る into the dark spooky melancholy types of stuff.

I gradually started readjusting myself with tiny steps- like instead of フラット, 平屋 I started wearing my boots again and wore my makeup heavier. The little small things that helped define who I was. Take baby steps to express who あなた really are and it will result in a big change.

I know, habits are hard to break. Find some people that あなた feel あなた can be yourself around, then do so. If they really like あなた for you, they'll help あなた break the habits. (This is hypothetical, I can't say I've been in your situation. But it's the best アドバイス I can give.)
