If quicksand sucks people down slowly why is it called that?

Because people are stupid and bad at naming. I mean really, apartments? They're places that are squished together. >_>

Maybe because since あなた struggle alot sometimes,it makes it go faster.If あなた dont 移動する at all,it would make it real slow.

または maybe the sand runs and beats all the other sand dunes in races.

I dont know,i guess it will always be a mystery....

OMG! never thought about it like that. um.. i'm not to sure,maybe its just a saying that has just stuck over time.

Think of it as something like this:
The もっと見る あなた run, the slower あなた get.

Because slowsand doesn't sound as catchy? :D
