Not only does black and white allow もっと見る interesting and unique cinematography (hello, expressionism!), what with the shadows and the interplay of light and dark, 映画 were just made better back then. Actors had talent instead of just being pretty faces, writers were もっと見る creative because they had to work around production codes (even though I HATE the Hayes Production Code, it did make the 書く in 映画 much もっと見る subtle because the writers had to make everything oblique) and great directors made many great 映画 per year. Yes, there are a lot of really bad B&W movies, just as there are a lot of really bad color movies, but I've always had a soft spot in my ハート, 心 for B&W. It's so much もっと見る mysterious and intriguing than color, just as the night is than the day!
