I think of nature. The beauty of it, and how it may enhance our own pulchritude from what I take from the woman in this photo.
I see this stern expression on the woman's face, and I see her as a protector; A protector of possibly any fragile, free little spirits that wonder through the forest and have made the 木, ツリー their home. :)
The girl reminds me of the words abandonment, forgotten, and how she appears to have distaste for both.
