Penny Dreadful Renewed for Season 3 

The nine-episode Season 3 will shoot on location in Dublin, Ireland, (as did Seasons 1 and 2) and will debut in 2016.

He continued: “Together with our wonderful partners at Sky Atlantic, we’re excited to see what new haunts John and his team have in store for Season 3.”

airs Sundays at 10/9c and will wrap its second season on July 5.

I’d be interested to find out when this premieres because I have a suspicion they’ll be pairing it with Twin Peaks and I really really want to know when that will start.

I’m SO happy. Now that I know Season 3 is set, that means we’ll for sure find out about Ethan’s dad and whatever it is Sembene did before he met Sir Malcolm!

I’ve noticed Penny Dreadful doesn’t seem to have a hard-set number of minutes-per-episode like many other shows do. I suspect their contracts are for total minutes/hours and nine gives them some flexibility.

One of my absolute favorite shows on TV right now. I’m ecstatic.
